CENTROLENIDAE

The Centrolenidae, or glass frogs, are an arboreal amphibian family. The abdominal skin of some species is translucent, making the heart, liver, and other organs visible. This map shows glass frog species occurrences in South and Central America (locations are represented by red dots). Click a dot to see a species name.

The map itself is designed to mimic glass frog skin. Zoom in far enough, and a hidden, red layer will become visible.
